Cruise Shipping Miami (formerly Sea Trade Miami) is the largest cruise convention in the world which is held annually in Miami. Over 10, 000 cruise-industry professionals attend each year for a one -top 'cruise shopping' experience.
At the said convention, the PAJ also penned a sister-port agreement between the Port of Falmouth, Cornwall in the United Kingdom and the Historic Falmouth Port. This agreement will serve to foster a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas and resources between both ports.
This is the 11th year that the Port Authority of Jamaica has exhibited at this massive trade show, as it believes it is the ideal and most-suited medium through which to promote and market Jamaica's four cruise ports - Port of Montego Bay, Historic Falmouth Port, Port of Ocho Rios and Port of Port Antonio.
Professional showcase
This convention provides the opportunity for participants to benefit from the industry's most authoritative professional showcase, as it attracts a broad range of industry players and deliver you the audience you are looking for - cruise-industry buyers and decision makers.
Even though cruise lines do not exhibit at the expo, their top executives participate in on -site meetings and seminars which educate delegates of the workings of the cruise industry.
The PAJ is a statutory corporation with responsibility for the regulation and development of Jamaica's port and shipping industry.
