When Madame Tussauds decided to honor the memory of the Whitney Houston, they knew just one wax statue of the late pop icon wouldn’t be enough. The wax museum told the Houston family they wanted four figures of Whitney to highlight standout moments from her triple decade career, and the Houstons happily agreed. Sister-in-law/former manager Pat Houston, expressed, “This is something we are excited to do for the fans.”
People reports that this is the “first time in 200 years that the museum has simultaneously created so many different figures of the same subject.” The Houstons helped Madame Tussauds debut the wax replicas New York City on Thursday (February 7) — just four days shy of the one-year anniversary of Whitney’s untimely passing. We think the museum did a darn good job capturing  Whitney’s likeness
