"There is legislation on the books to outlaw cellphone use inside your car, so it would be great if motorists got into the habit of starting to use my product now," Thomas told Auto.

"It doesn't need Bluetooth or Wi-Fi."
Once connected, the user simply turns the car radio, or any radio for that matter, to either 88.9 MHz or 106.7MHz, and puts his phone down.
Any calls taken will have the audio routed through the car stereo, and the speaker does not need to take his eyes off the road or hold the phone up to
his ear.
Hands-free devices provide a safe option for cellphone users in many parts of the world.
Thomas, who has been testing the device for nearly a year, has nothing but praise for it.
"It works very well. It's like having the person in the car there with you," he said.
With its universal fit, safety aspects, and inexpensive $2,000 price tag, the Car Baby II also reduces radiation exposure, since you no longer have to hold the phone near your head for long periods.
Since the device broadcasts on a radio frequency, there is one other little trick Thomas discovered.
"You can use it with any radio such as the one in your house. You can turn the phone into a microphone through a home stereo, or have a hands-free conversation near any radio."
