THE first audition for the 2013 Tastee Talent Trail series was held on the grounds of the company's car park in Cross Roads, St Andrew, on Saturday.
The audition is one of four scheduled for the same venue.
The 2013 season also boasts a new panel of judges headed by musician/lecturer Michael 'Ibo' Cooper, entertainer Queen Ifrica, and Kerry-Ann Lawrence of the Tivoli Dance Troupe.
On several occasions, Cooper left the judge's table and assisted the contestants with proper mike-handling and breathing techniques.
The 15 who made the cut are: Kimberly Renee, Jermaine Sterling, Shantee Ffrench, O'Neil Allen, the Duo R3, Herron McLean, Bubbles Man, Patrick Whyte, Jermaine McDonald, Maurice Oliver, Kelisha Simmonds, Adrain Currie, Monique Smith, Otto Lecky, and Ricardo Smith.
This batch heads to the first road show set for Saturday, April 27 in Portmore.
The next audition, however, takes place at Tastee Cross Roads on Saturday, May 18.
Fifteen persons were selected from a batch of nearly 100 entrants.
