To mark the 35th anniversary of Kaya, the easy-listening album from Bob Marley and The Wailers, Universal Music Enterprises will today release its Kaya: 35th Anniversary Deluxe Edition.
In addition to the originals, there is the B-side version of Smile Jamaica. The second disc features the unreleased concert, Live at Ahoy Hallen which was recorded in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on July 7, 1978.
Today, there will be a special online listening party to be followed by a live broadcast of a performance by Ziggy Marley from the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Many critics consider Kaya to be Marley and the Wailers' most romantic work. It contains ballads such as Is This Love, My Woman Is Gone and Satisfy My Soul.
The double CD contains 24 re-mastered tracks, including the original 10 released by Island Records in 1978.
