LUCEA SHELL service station dealer Lloyd Fraser represented Jamaica for the first time at the 'People Make the Difference Real' Shell Global Summit held in Barcelona, Spain, last week. Frazer held his Jamaican flag high as Jamaica walked away with two awards, namely Shell Gold Retailer Regional Award and the Shell Best in Country Dealer Award. The cheers were loud as the man with his small number of smiling stars appeared on the Jumbotron screen representing Jamaica. A personal congratulation to team Jamaica was offered from John Bullock, global vice-president, retail and past country manager for Shell operations in Jamaica.
Customer Promise
'People Make the Difference Real' has always been the hallmark on which the Shell customer promise is built. The customer service at each site is tested each quarter under the Shell Mystery Motorist Programme and an individual score awarded. This culminates in an overall country year-to-date score.
In 2012, Jamaica ended the year with the highest year-to-date average in the Latin America and the Caribbean zone of 29 countries. Other country award recipients in our zone were Nassau, The Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
