There are more than two options- I propose that you use your intelligence, not to prove anything to the white man or anyone else, but to master your own universe, to attain your goals,

to help others, to glorify God, to keep yourself intellectually stimulated, etc. I think we sometimes confuse intelligence with education. Intelligence is intuitive and will shine with or without education. However, one can be educated without intelligence.

Spouting or showing off your education does not make one intelligent.

We,as black people, can not let one faction define us.

We are a diaspora that shares an ancestry but that has different languages and cultures and classes. The intelligent among us must embrace the whole of us, from hood or ghetto to high-brow and sidity (sp?) just as whites embrace their trailer trash.
