For the past four years, he has operated the Unisyz Muzik label from his home in Wilton Gardens, a politically-fractious area known as Rema.
It contains a miniscule recording booth where acts such as Bushman, Potential Kid, Admiral Tibet, Captain Barkey and Carl Dawkins have 'voiced' songs for the fledgling company.
Prior to producing, Spugy B recorded songs like Pon Dem Babylon System for producer Don Corleon. But he has temporarily put his vocal career on hold to establish Unisyz Muzik.

Spugy B's training as a computer technician was critical to launching his small enterprise. While working at the (FINSAC), he developed relationships with clients who would help get Unisyz off the ground.
"A lotta times I never charged them, so anytime they went abroad an' asked what I needed, I asked for a monitor, a microphone, things like that."
It has paid off in terms of regular recording dates with established and emerging artistes.
To date, Unisyz Music has produced two compilation albums of songs featuring the aforementioned artistes.
