Jamaica's male quartet brought a spectacular close to the 2013 World Championships in the 4X100 relay.
Sprint double champion Usain Bolt anchored the team of Nesta Carter, Kemar Bailey Cole and Nickel Ashmeade to a thrilling finish in a world leading 37.36.
United States was second in 37.66.
Great Britain was third in a season best 37.88 but was disqualified for a baton change outside the zone.
As a consequence, Canada has been awarded the bronze.
The gold in the men's 4X100 came minutes after the female team led by Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce secured a win for Jamaica in a new championship record 41.29.
