Fagan, who was invited by the Chinese Government, will attend the Third Global Economic Leaders' Summit in Changchun City, Jilin Province, from September 4 to 6, and the Second International Culture Industry Summit in Lanzhou city, Gansu Province, from September 6 to 8.

According to a release from the local government ministry, Minister Fagan leads the charge to establish town centres across the island and as such the Chinese Government saw it fit to have his input at this year's summit.
Themes for the summits are 'Worldwide development experience of urbanisation & global cooperation opportunities of China's urbanisation', and 'The inheritance, innovation and global cooperation of the Chinese civilisation', respectively.
About 600 political figures, world business leaders from Fortune 500 & Forbes 2000 companies, industry leaders, investors and bankers, ministers, members of parliament, governors, mayors, economists and scholars from more than 80 countries are participating in the summits.
Fagan will be the keynote speaker for one of the round-table sessions of the first summit, and is scheduled to make a presentation on 'Urbanisation and International Investments'.
While in China, the state minister is expected to conduct a tour of the Fire Station in Changchun City and meet with the provincial chief where he will discuss matters of local economic development and other matters concerning local government and community development.
