December 2011 saw the Mighty Crown sound system resting Samurai swords and announcing a pause from the clash game.
Now, almost two years later, the sound system is back.
The sound is to return to the arena on Saturday, October 12, where it will battle on the World Clash R.E.S.E.T. stage.

There, Mighty Crown will go toe to toe with nemesis Fire Links.
Of the return to the arena, co-founder Sami T said it's time for them to, "wake up these fools."
"We been on the road mashing up nuff works and spreading da music. But we buss as clash sound and there's too much idiot sound out there who a mash up di business, so I felt, like, we need fi step in and wap up these sounds - basically, to wake up these fools who nuh stop chat bout wi, badmind wi - [we] trying to clean them up," he said.
Co-founder Simon also said: "I think every sound has their own time period. I thought this year should be the right time to kill some sounds again!"
The Japanese sound has had an active summer, with several performances as headline acts at some of Europe's largest reggae festivals.
DRIVING FORCE TOUR
The sound system's 'Driving Force' tour kicked off earlier in the spring and has had more than 50 dates, making them one of the industry's most active sounds today.
They shared that preparing for the upcoming clash has been slow because of other engagements; however, they're not worried. They'll be ready by then said Sami T.
The sound system plans to return to Europe in late November, but all current efforts are being invested in their anticipated return to sound clash.
Sami T said after World Clash, "I will do what needs to be done. Basically, I'm booked 'til December (with) shows, production. I don't know about clash yet because I (already) clashed with all these giants and legend selectors in da biz."
If it's worth it, he might take a look at it.
Simon shared that they'll be simply going with the flow and vibes.
"The main focus is spreading reggae music itself and this includes clashes, production, juggling dances, and parties," he said.
One of The Far East Rulers' first major victories was at World Clash 1999 in New York, where they beat Killamanjaro in the final face-off.
Since then, the sound has been involved in several other clashes, including victorious showings at Death Before Dishonour in 2007 and 2008.
