Chin looked relieved once her name was called, burying her face in her hands before hugging her fellow team members.
The team was rounded out by Will Champlin, who was saved by coach Adam Levine.
Preston Pohl and Grey were the other members of team Adam who failed to advance.
In his comments last night regarding Chin's performance of Jimmy Cliff's Many Rivers To Cross on Monday night's live show, Levine called her "a very rare gift".
"She has the ability to sing any song with potency and talent," he added.
Chin noted the significance of performing this particular song.
"A few years ago I was singing this song as a back-up singer and now I am performing centrestage," she said.
Chin toured with the reggae icon for three years as a backing vocalist before embarking on a solo career.
There were nervous moments for all the other teams.
The final list for team Blake (Shelton) reads: Austin Jenckes and Cole Vosbury, who amassed the highest votes, and Ray Boudreaux who was saved by the coach. Big-voiced Shelbie Z and Nic Hawk were the casualties for this team.
For team Christina (Aguilera), it was the young Jacquie Lee and Matthew Schuler who earned top votes, while Josh Logan was saved by Aguilera.
Those eliminated from this team were Olivia Henken and Stephanie Anne Johnson.
Caroline Pennell and Johnny Gray took top honours for the team coached by CeeLo Green, who then chose rock chick Kat Robichaud as his third team member. Tamara Chauniece and Amber Nicole did not make the cut.
