According to Saint International's CEO Deiwght Peters, "I never wanted just any website, but something that was distinct from anything else in the Caribbean modelling space and aesthetically congruent with what's happening internationally," he noted of the agency's foray into digital space via the launch of the company's website, www.saintmodels.com.
The impressively multidimensional site showcases the agency's model portfolios, male and female models in the categories of new faces and its main stars. The clean lines, flashing imagery and high-fashion styling gives the site an appealing impact.
According to Peters, the site gives access to international clients in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, and offers the possibility for direct booking of their talent. It also makes it easier for international agencies in secondary markets to view the site and make decisions on representation for their talent.
"We display an unparalleled roster of the hottest Jamaican models on the international market," Peters boasts. The agency also represents non-Jamaican models who were discovered in Paris (Sekou), Guadeloupe (Rainer Boucard), French Guiana (Anthony and Natalia) and even New York (Kimani, Denzel).
There is also the agency's history which tracks its growth, achievements and revolutionary contributions to the local fashion industry landscape.
Aspiring models may also visit the site and upload their photos directly to the Saint team for assessment and feedback.
"We are also in a position to update the model's portfolios in a more timely fashion than their international agencies, since we get all updated materials from the various international markets," adds Peters.
The site was developed by CDs Global, the leading provider of websites for the international fashion market. The company's unique platform makes it a competitive image-based web provider.
"So far, the feedback from around the world has been absolutely positive," Peters mentions. "Many consider it world-class and cutting-edge and easy to navigate," he concludes.
He outlines that there will be additional site adjustments in terms of certain elements such as new divisions, and event photo galleries.
