NBC’s The Voice was already popular in the states, but now the Emmy-winning talent show is even more popular worldwide.
Thanks to Jamaican songstress Tessanne Chin, The Voice season five is rocking up huge ratings for the network.
Last week The Voice was ranked No. 1 show with among adults 18-49 with 11.2 million viewers tuning.
Perhaps The Voice sould hold a Jamaican audition for season six next year.
Tessanne Chin is the first Jamaican to enter the competition and has since become a hot favourite to win the grand prize of a recording contract and $100,000 cash.
Every week millions of Caribbean nationals in the Caribbean, United States and the rest of the world tune in to see her performed. Even Americans are now joining the bandwagon by rocking up the votes for her.
As the show enters its Top5 contestants it will be interesting to see Tessanne Chin performed her own singles such as “Hide Away.”
