But Oprah Winfrey has no regrets, commenting it would have been difficult making time for a family amid her busy career. 'If I had kids, my kids would hate me,' she tells The Hollywood Reporter in its new issue. 'They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me; because something [in my life] would have had to suffer and it would've probably been them.'
Oprah, who grew up in poverty in rural Mississipi, says her attitude about children is in stark contrast to her best friend Gayle King, who is a mother of two. 'Gayle [now a mother of two] was the kind of kid who, in seventh grade Home Ec class, was writing down her name and the names of her children,' she says. 'While she was having those kinds of daydreams, I was having daydreams about how I could be Martin Luther King.'

'I'm not ashamed to say I love making money!'
Sofia Vergara loves making money. The actress-and-model is the highest-paid TV actress in America and made an estimated $30 million last year, partly from endorsement deals with Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl and Kmart. Despite her success, Sofia — who portrays Gloria Pritchett in the comedy series Modern Family — still has a lot of business ideas and is always looking ahead to the future.
She said: "I'm not ashamed to say I love making money. I like business, and the truth is I save way more than I spend. I invest. I plan for the future. I have a special eye for opportunities and work harder than anyone might expect. It is fun to shock people with my business ideas. Most people just see me as Gloria." And the 41-year-old beauty — who has a 21-year-old son, Manolo, from her marriage to Joe Gonzalez — admits she likes to capitalise on the fact people expect her to be a 'bimbo' because of her good looks.

'I felt like the luckiest girl in the whole world'
They were young lovers at the top of show business. And Glee favourite Lea Michelle has revealed she felt like the 'luckiest girl in the world' when she was dating her tragic co-star Cory Monteith. The pair were an item until his death earlier this year due to a toxic combination of heroin and alcohol in his system.
The 27-year-old made the revelation as she reminisced with Ellen DeGeneres about how her beau finally admitted they were an item on the show. She said: "It's one of my favourite memories. I remember when he came home that night he kind of puffed out his chest and he was like, 'I talked about you on Ellen today.' I was so happy. He's such a private person and I literally lived everyday of my life feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole world. I just thought he was the greatest man and so at that moment, that memory, it means so much to me."
