Young Money/Cash Money seems to be making headlines a lot these days and now Tyga is following the trend. The Young Money rapper just recently linked up with G.O.O.D Music’s head Kanye West and now Tyga just threw down over $2 million on a luxury vehicle that’s apparently a limited edition.
According to the reports, Tyga joins a select few which includes names such as, Cash Money head Birdman and Jay Z to own a 2014 convertible Maybach 62 S Landaulet.
Tyga just bought a sweet ride as a birthday present to himself … it’s got four doors and four wheels — hey, just like a Toyota Camry — but Tyga’s whip cost around $2.2 million. Sources close to Tyga tell us he dropped 2 large bills plus on a 2014 convertible Maybach 62 S Landaulet — the car itself cost $1.3 mil. Now get this … he spent nearly a mil tricking it out. West Coast Customs hooked it up with all kinds of extras, including a 40 inch TV. Here’s the thing … for $2.2 mil where the hell are the cup holders? Ty joins an elite group of 62 S owners — including Jay Z and Bird Man. We’re told he plans to showcase the car in a new video he’s shooting with Mally Mall, “Wake Up In It.” (TMZ)
The news of the huge purchase comes just days after Tyga took to his Instagram to post a picture of himself locked in the studio with Kanye West.

The Cash Money rapper took to Instagram to share a photo of him working with the G.O.O.D. Music mastermind. “Raww x Yeezus,” tweeted Tyga. Details of their collaboration are scarce, but Tyga is readying his new album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, which has already spawned the Justin Bieber-assisted single “Wait for a Minute.” (Rap-Up)
Tyga recently spoke with the Breakfast Club about his relationship with girlfriend Blac Chyna.
”I met her at the strip club,” Tyga added, when asked how he hooked up with Chyna. “When I first met her, it was hard to see her. I was on the road — I think we had a party over there at [King of Diamonds strip club] and she gave me her number.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
