NEW YORK-BASED pop singer Kamsha is one of the acts for the Love One Another benefit concert at St Andrew Parish Church in Kingston on February 14.
"This is a great project for a wonderful cause that will benefit some deserving folks in Jamaica," said Kamsha.
Her sister, Crystal Morris, a model, will also participate in the event.
"We both love Jamaica very, very much so we were motivated to get involved," said Kamsha, whose sound is entirely different from the Nyahbinghi drum beats of her grandfather Ras Michael.
Her latest song, Lost, was recently released but an even bigger project is her album which will be distributed by Gold Electric Records.
Her other tracks include Turn it Up, Dream, which features Iah Ranks, and a cover of Eartha Kitt's
Santa Baby.
Other artistes on the benefit event, which is being staged in association with All Saints Church, St Alban's Mission, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church are Ken Boothe, Ras Michael Jnr, Andrew Reid, Junior Reid, Carlene Davis, Kiddus I and Bongo Herman.
