The 16-year-old sushi savant Motoshige Sato, invited along with his chef and restaurateur father Kazuhiro, by the Japanese embassy as a part of ongoing diplomatic celebrations between both countries, showcased his lifelong love affair with the cuisine that is globally synonymous with his homeland. The audience of attentive chefs and restaurateurs gathered in the Jamaica Pegasus's Polo Lounge eagerly savoured the art of sushi-making and Sato's creations.
