Jeffrey Stiles of Muskegon, Michigan, was clearly feeling pleased with the zombie costume he’d pulled together to attend a Halloween party last Saturday night. Stepping outside for a cigarette, the 45-year-old thought he’d take the fright fest to the next level and lurched onto the street in an attempt to scare drivers into thinking the undead apocalypse was underway.
It turns out he was more successful than anticipated.
According to reports, Stiles walked into the traffic lane and was promptly hit by a car. “He decided to walk along the roadway to scare cars, as he was dressed like a zombie for the Halloween party,” confirms Ottawa County Sgt. Matt Wilfong.
