CANADA-BASED deejay Kirk Diamond recently released the music video for the single Love Inna Wi Heart.
The track, produced by French-based Galang Records, also features deejay Bob Di Builda. Filmed in Jamaica, the video was directed by Nellie Roxx and Xtreme Arts.
Explaining the concept behind the single, Kirk Diamond said the song is about his life's experience.
"The song was written based on actual events that were going on in and around my life. The words are factual, but writing the song was a way for me to get through a negative situation," he said.
He was pleased the video was done in Jamaica.
"It was exciting being able to go back home to shoot the video. The whole vibe of the cast and the crew made it fun and made us comfortable, but you'll be able to see that in the video," he added.
Kirk Diamond, whose given name is Kirk Douglas, was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. He migrated to Canada at age 10.
For the holiday season, Kirk Diamond is heading to Jamaica where he will join Don Dem's member TG to perform at GT Taylor's Christmas Extravaganza at Independence Park in Black River, St Elizabeth, on
December 25.
