CONCERN FOR the welfare of a "painfully" injured man recently diagnosed with diabetes is growing after he went missing before Christmas.
Daniel Lawrence, 54, from Westminster, central London, was last seen by a relative on Tuesday (Dec 23) at about noon at a bus stop in Kilburn Lane.
He claimed he was on his way to seek treatment at hospital for a "painfully swollen foot", police said.
Issing a public appeal to help find him, the Met said it is "completely out of character for him to be missing."
They added: "Officers have checked with local hospitals and can find no record of him being seen or admitted.
"He has not been in contact with his family since Tuesday and they are desperate for news of him."
Lawrence is described as male, 5ft 10in tall, of slim build. He is balding, with a greying goatee beard. Furthermore, his front teeth are missing.
Providing additional detail, police continued: "When last seen he is thought to have been wearing a black anorak with blue jeans. He is using a pogo stick as a walking stick. Daniel has limited mobility due to a painfully swollen foot. He has recently been diagnosed with diabetes.
"Concern for Daniel’s wellbeing is increasing due to the significantly cold weather."
