IT'S BEEN almost three years since Rihanna released her last album, but the superstar is back in the studio and has been teasing her fans with some of her new music on Instagram.
So far, FourFiveSeconds with Kanye West and Paul McCartney has been the only offering from the Bajan beauty, but last night (Mar 5), Rihanna teased snippets of another track from her highly-anticipated new album believed to be called R8.
Rihanna's last album, Unapologetic dropped in 2012, and featured hit singles, Pour it Up and Diamonds.
The 27-year-old posted two 15-second clips of a song entitled Higher on Instagram which have left her fans in an excited frenzy.
"This whiskey got me feeling pretty/ So pardon me if I'm impolite/ I just really need your a** with me," sings in the short sample.
"Just come over, let's pour a drink, babe/ I hope I'm not calling you too late."
Along with the clip, Rihanna wrote: "5 am drunk off da whiskey with these two rockstars @officialkukharrell @djanser !!! These guys always hold me down even at the craziest hours! We've made every album since #GoodGirlGoneBad together! The family!!! One Love #R8"
The Diamonds star also gave fans a sneak peak to another new song, Towards the Sun, as part of the official soundtrack to the animated flick Home, which Rihanna also stars in, alongside The Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons.
