Do beautiful career driven black women cause uneasiness among others?

I'm asking this question because of a certain article
about black women's desirability being circulated in full
over a number of sites.
It's not the article itself that got me wondering, but the two
obviously poor black female from the most poverty striken parts
of that country that they use to represent all black women from
various parts of the world. If that isn't madness please tell me
what is.
Judging from the authors point of view, Iv'e detected prejudice
jealousy and deep psychological issues that may be playing tricks
in the authors mind. So here's the question again

do people see
well groomed and career driven black women as a threat? it would
be interesting to read everyone's views.

A black professor told me couple weeks ago that
we should look out for more negative images of the
black women. He said that a few years back they viciously
attack the black male with thug images and whatever else
more negatives they could come up with, they were a bit more
easy on the black women, so most of them stay in school and
rose to prominence, that was not expected so they're now honing
in on the black women while praising the black man. When they do
that the black men will think they're better than their women.

@kingjacob Ive recently noticed that too, first it
use to be the angry black man, now its the angry black
woman. In my years of living Ive come across lots of
angry women from different races, there's no doubt that
an angry woman can be off-putting but Ive also come across
nice intelligent well mannered and soft spoken black women
but they're kept in the dark, because they do not fit the
stereotype of the angry black woman. My spouse is a beautiful
intelligent black woman and she is very pretty too, I thank
God for her everyday. We've had our differences like every other
couple but nothing major for me to say she is an angry black woman.

People are human beings first so ofcourse they might get mad or
angry about something, I get mad and angry too Im not perfect so
society need to lay off our women and quit while they're ahead.

If we go natural the media bully us into
straightening our hair.

If we straighten our hair, we are white women
dipped in chocolate.

If we are born with straight nose we're not black enough
if we're born with wide nose and full lips, its still a problem.

If we've got light skin we're not black enough, if we've got dark
skin we're too dark, While others that are claiming to feel good
in their own skin are paying millions to either whiten or darken
and also paying to get fuller lips and a bigger ass. Yet if we as
a black person ever dare try using any form of lightening agent we
are seen as not comfortable in our own skin or our looks.

Why are people from other races free to experiment, change up their
looks hair, skintone features but a black woman is seen as a self hater
if she tries to change up her looks?

Women on a whole like to feel attractive and wanted so they will experiment
with their hair and skin to get a certain look. People need to leave us alone
look in the mirror, they'r all hypocrites and jealousy and fear are eating
away at logics.

Wow I like this thread where can I start, as a black
photographer I was never allowed to photograph the
beautiful black women for perfume ads, fashion houses
etc. They would normally give the job to a noneblack
male and they would send me all the white models.

I also never could understand why when I use to date other races
of women they like me but hate the women that gave birth to me.
my last white girlfriend I told her I do not roll like that
and it was the last time I ever ventured outside my race.
Im now dating a beautiful black nurse we're getting married
next year early January. It was the best move Ive ever made, I
never knew that I could be this happy with my own race of women.
please do not feed into the lies that black men hate black women.

There are lots of us that would catch a grenade for you...even given
up dating outside for you lol.

Eventhough Im mixedrace my mother is afro american
and my father is a white jamaican.
judging from my observations, I think there is something
very POWERFUL about the black race why people are fight
ing so hard to keep the black men from the women
and also
why they're scrutinised so closely, its like each step
a black man or woman take there is a hidden shadow stepping
right behind them
thats what Ive come to realise, why is it so important to
watch them so closley and dictate what, how and when they
should do anything.

Its funny you should say that, because I once

had a conversation with a white man and he said

the same thing, that the reason why some of his

people keep us apart was because of us being powerful

and the fear they have of which if most blacks are

left to lead a normal life there would be a power shift

from them to us. He is white and he can see this why

cant the rest of us? His answer was its because they

keep us busy fighting, we're too busy fighting over

the commonest of things to stop look and see the bigger

picture.

yes pretty black women from all over the world has
always been a problem...they seek us out and try

to isolate us...and only show the ghetto ones on television.
