Prince Harry who was voted hottest royal in the world as his brother Prince William lands in ninth place, already had plans for the name lily before and after he met with Meghan.
PRINCE Harry left a "little Easter egg hint" about his daughter's name two years before he and Meghan Markle welcomed Lilibet Diana, a royal commentator noted.
Prince Harry hinted at his future daughter's name choice back in 2019 during an interaction with a member of the public. When visiting Birkenhead on royal duty, Prince Harry spoke to a mother with a young daughter called Lili and expressed a fondness for the name. The Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed their daughter, Lilibet Diana, last Friday.
"They were visiting some schoolchildren in Birkhead and Harry was speaking to a mother who had a daughter named Lili and he was interacting with them, even asking how the little girl spells her name."
"I think he was already leaving a little Easter egg hint that it was a name he was into."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited Wirral, Birkhead in January 2019 whilst she was pregnant with their first-born Archie Harrison.
The couple welcomed their daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on Friday, June 4 at 11:40am.
She was born in Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital near their home in Montecito, California and weighed 7lbs 11oz.
Named after both her great-grandmother the Queen, also Meghan's great great aunt lili ragland and Prince Harry mother Princess Diana, the name is sweet family tribute on both sides.
Lilibet was the childhood nickname of the Queen.
As an infant, she was unable to pronounce the name Elizabeth, which led to her parents, King George VI and the Queen Mother, fondly calling her Lilibet. And Lili Ragland was Meghan's great great aunt who worked for famous actress Betty Davis before she went on to marry a famous base ball player.
