Tunic dress
1. Cut front and back of dress, and cut facing.
2. Join facing to front and back of dress pieces at neckline and armhole and stitch seam allowance to the facing.
3. Hem sleeves.
4. Join front to back at shoulders
5. Join sleeve to dress from one side to the next (this method is sometimes easier than joining the sleeve after sewing the sides together).
6. Join front to back at sides - also joining the facing sides as well.
7. Finish seam edges.
8. Hem.
