DANCEHALL producer Marvyn Williams is releasing a new single entitled Champion today.
"Champion was done to highlight and create awareness to the younger generation of artistes for the acknowledgement of the work done before," said Williams, who celebrates his birthday today.
Williams said the project also has a deeper meaning as it signifies the possibility of unity in the business given its competitive nature.
"This track shows not only the hope, but the possibilities of what can be achieved musically," he said.
Done on Williams' Voiceful Records label, the track features a host of dancehall heavyweights spanning three decades, including Yellow Man, Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Burru Banton, Capleton, General Trees, Josie Wales, Sizzla Kalonji, Ninja Man and Tiger.
