The classic look of metallics which went mainstream in spring and headlined the previously celebrated festive season, was designed for women looking to add a touch of spice and make a bold statement in their outfit.
This cutting edge fashion trend made an indelible mark on major runways in 2013 before relocating to many wardrobes. Features of the metallic's glitz and glam include sophisticated chic long or short cocktail dresses, jackets, tops, pants, shorts and skirts, heels, shoes, even accessories, you name it. Reigning supreme in glorious gold and shimmering silver, the style has transcended to unconventional designs using pastels, brocades and textures.
This week, the Flair honours the daringly innovative look, highlighting several metallic pieces which made the creative cut for 2013 and are fashion forward enough for 2014.
