Germany sped to victory in the team relay event on Thursday, winning gold and proving their complete dominance of the sport, having also triumphed in the men's and women's singles and doubles.
Russia performed three strong runs to win silver, while Latvia finished in the bronze medal position.
Twelve teams competed in the event, the first time team relay has formed part of an Olympic Winter Games luge competition.
Germany's golden team, dubbed 'the Bayern express', features Felix LOCH (GER), gold medallist in men's singles, Natalie GEISENBERGER, who won the women's singles, and the gold medallists from the doubles event Tobias ARLT and Tobias WENDL.
