ROOTS singer Samory-I launches his latest song, African Queen, this evening at Utopia Sports Bar in New Kingston.
The event, a co-production between Black Dub and First Born Management, is part of the RJR Group's Kingston Music Week.
African Queen is the follow-up to Take Me Oh Jah, which was released in the summer. Also on this evening's show are singers Fredlocks, Seers and King Imawly. They will be backed by the Nayme Bran band, which includes Franklyn 'Bubbler' Waul on keyboards; Winston 'Bo Pee' Bowen on guitar; bassist Ruel Ashburn; and drummer Eric Samuels.
