Dr Zoe Williams has revealed that she has enlisted the help of a doula to prepare for the birth of her first child and she is “leaning more towards” having a home birth.
The This Morning star, 41, who is currently 37 weeks pregnant with her and boyfriend Stuart McKay's first baby, described how she has seen two doulas to help address her “over-medicalised view of childbirth”.
Zoe, who recently showed off her blossoming baby bump during a live appearance on This Morning , described how she has “changed how she feels about birth” after seeing her body "grow" and "nurture" her unborn child.
“My partner Stuart and I have seen two doulas, Leti and Lauren, regularly and they’ve helped me address my over-medicalised view of childbirth while remaining evidence-based and appreciating scientific data,” Dr Zoe wrote in Fabulous magazine.
