Bridging the digital divide
The GTECH After School Advantage Programme donates computers to non-profit agencies and schools and provides assistance with computer services..
"Everybody recognises the importance of technology and the technological learning tools that children use today. We set out to basically equip them to soar in this technological age that we live in. This is one of several initiatives that we have done so far," Green told The Gleaner.
"St Michael's Primary is a proud school with a rich tradition of creative expression and as such we are honoured for the After School Advantage Programme to be here. Thus far, each centre has reported positive feedback" she added.
