Who:
Jamaica Observer Food Awards judges Annaliesa Lindsay, Rochelle Cameron and Emma Sharp Dalton-Brown met at Fish Pot for breakfast.
What they ate:
The ackee and saltfish, chef knives down, could well be among the best on the island; the steamed fish could make Hellshire cooks swim for their supper; the signature snapper burger ($540 for a combo with fries and a drink), while great for 'fishatarians', could pass muster in any fabulous hamburger joint; not one of the soups should ever be overlooked; the sides of fried festival, bammy, green plantain and ripe plantain pleased everyone, including seven-month-old Shay Dalton-Brown; and as if we could still be hungry, Chef Ebanks brought out the succulent hot coconut shrimp rundown and rice (only $385) for us to taste.
