Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum recently held a Gleaner exclusive Cocktail Making Session for the four cocktails created by the brand for its August 2-5 sponsored SPF Weekend. The event was held at the elevated Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum bar at the Pub at the Mayfair. The chosen names represent the marquee events for the Weekend: Catamaran Cruise, BNM: Eye Candy, Fiction Beach, and Soirée: SPF-04.

2 ozs Appleton Estate V/X Jamaica Rum
21/2ozs Orange Juice
1/2oz Pure Country Cranberry
1/4oz Peach Schnapps
1/4oz Lime juice
1/2oz Sugar Syrup
Method
Add all ingredients to shaker and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange slice.

11/2ozs Appleton Estate V/X Jamaica Rum
1/2oz Triple Sec
1/2oz Strawberry Syrup
1/2oz Lime Juice
1/2oz Orange Juice
Method
Add all ingredients to shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain in a martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.

2 ozs Appleton Estate V/X Jamaica Rum
3/4oz Strawberry Syrup
1/2oz Blue Curaçao
1/2oz Lime Juice
Method
Add all ingredients to shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain in a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.
