JAMAICAN songstress Tessanne Chin delivered another stellar performance as she moved through the live rounds of NBC’s The Voice last night. Her coach Adam Levine chose My Kind Of Love by Emeli Sandé — an artiste Chin has openly admired since the start of the competition.
Obviously pleased with the song choice, Chin dedicated the track to her husband, Michael Anthony Cuffe Jr who, along with her sister Tami was part of the live audience at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

“My mind is just blown away. You are so consistent and the bar is so high that I can never be satisfied.
This show is called The Voice, and you have got it to a degree that is astounding,” he gushed. In her comments, coach Christina Aguilera likened Chin to some of the current crop of pop acts.
“That was such a beautiful, passionate performance. From day one I have always been a fan. Your voice is amazing and rich; it can do anything. I heard Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson and Tessanne,” said Aguilera. Immediately following her performance Chin took to Twitter to say thanks. “Big up to my amazing husband @CuffeStuff beautiful sister @tamichynn and @DiRealShaggy in the audience. So thrilled to share this with u,” she tweeted.
The Voice returns tonight with the results show during which two contestants will be eliminated and the remaining 10 finalists will move on to next Monday’s live performances. Jamaicans at home are not able to vote via phone but can register their support for Chin by following her on social media — Twitter and Facebook — and downloading her tracks on iTunes, which all count as votes.
The finals of The Voice is set for December 16 in California, with the winner set to take home a cash prize and a recording contract.
