WESTERN BUREAU:
Fashionista Terrian Wilson means every word when she tells her customers to 'Shop Like A Star', and Gordon and Keisha Baldie know how good it feels to drive around in a Corvette.
The perfect marriage was performed between the businesses they own, Cars to Go and Shop Like A Star, during the Cars to Go grand promotion tagged 'Autocratics', on Friday, March 21, at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay.
Shop Like A Star, located at the Upper Deck Hotel complex, climbed down the hill to join in the event geared towards encouraging 'safe driving', explains Keisha Baldie.
The husband-and-wife team had a host of exhibitors, including Citadel Insurance Brokers, the Montego Bay Co-operative Credit Union, Solar Direk, Scotiabank, FX Trader, Euro Car Parts, Nippon, First Global Bank, Jamaica Money Market Brokers, and Caribbean Producers, highlighting their food and products and supporting the event.
However, it was Shop Like A Star that added special effects to the vehicles on the lot, playing host to a sexy champagne Corvette and a sleek black Mercedes-Benz.
The event also featured ZJ Bambino and rising star, Miguel Antonio, who connected musically with the crowd.
