Marilyn Monroe was born a brunette in 1926 in Los Angeles hospital in the charity ward, she was given the name Norma Jeane Mortenson at the time of her birth. She grew up poor and only knew one parent her mother, of whom was mentally ill, and so she was raised by an orphanage including staying with friends and family. Her career started in 1945 when some photos were taken of her while she was working in a factory. People saw her pictures and were very impressed by her stunning looks and that was what secured her a modelling contract and the rest was history. She then went on to become a famous movie star and during the time of her career up until this day we still cannot get enough of her, so here is to marilyn monroe, enjoy these stunning pictures of the beauty!
