The staging of Reggae Sumfest this week has shifted our focus to the greatest music genre -- reggae -- not only in name, but also in the recognition of legends. Reggae music is very much a part of who we are as a people, and has contributed significantly to building the nation brand globally. It is quite fitting, therefore for Rock the Cloth to honour our greatest cultural product (in our view) this week. Most commonly associated with red, gold, and green colours, we use these colours in simple styles. Each garment is made of cotton or rayon knit and work well for the summertime heat.
Look 1: A simple tube is best for daytime and may be worn with flat sandals or casual wedges. It may also be accessorised with a belt and a range of statement jewellery to match your style personality.

Look 2: A form-fitting short dress with an asymmetrical hemline may be transitioned from day to evening for a casual party.
Look 3: A one-shoulder dress in an elegant silhouette is a great evening look.
Steps: Look 2
1. Cut front and back of the dress.
2. Join front to back along the sides and shoulder.
3. Finish edges.
4. Optional: hem/finish neckline and armhole or leave as straight cut edges.
