The University of Melbourne's Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) Survey is conducted among the same 17,000 people each year on a range of issues, including jobs and income, housing affordability, family relationships, gambling, among other things.
"Between 2005 and 2015 we saw a profound shift towards the view that homosexual couples should have the same rights as heterosexual couples," the report's lead author, Professor Roger Wilkins, said.
